Columbus Club is committed to best practice and to providing a magical and unique Columbus Club experience for all our campers every Summer.

To achieve our goal, we invest in the people we employ.

We seek out staff who are enthusiastic, committed to best practice, kind and have an expertise in the activities they are coaching and tutoring in.

  • We provide full training and induction for all staff.
  • All staff are Garda Vetted.
  • All staff are provided with a Contract of Employment.
  • Staff are paid weekly, receive their payslips by email every Friday – payroll outsourced.

Additional Professional Training and Development for Staff:

We are committed to developing staff in their professional and work environment while working with Columbus Club. Staff are provided with the expertise of Mr. Austin O’Malley from Hexagon Performance on the topic of Building and Supporting a High Performing Team.

Hexagon Performance’s founder Austin O’Malley inspires action to chase after high performance. Their high performance coaching, culture and wellbeing programmes are built, tailored and predicted on sound science while cultivating genuine authentic relationships with their clients.

Their programmes are holistic in nature, science based, research driven and pitch proven.

Building and Supporting a High Performing Team

This team session focuses on bringing the key attributes of a High Performance Team to life through an interactive, energising and engaging presentation where different team activities are woven in across the session to build greater connection and togetherness among the team.

We focus on the basic fundamentals that are often forgotten about when building great team connection and developing and maximizing a team’s collective potential.
